Biography
Natalia Rinaldi is a PhD candidate in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Toronto, where she previously held an OGS Award (2017-18). She is interested in language acquisition, language variation and psycholinguistics. Her research interests are acquisition of morphosyntactic and semantic features by monolingual children. Natalia’s dissertation investigates how children acquire meaning relying on linguistic cues in Brazilian Portuguese modal verbs.
